In de toekomst is de Ring Utrecht getransformeerd tot een efficiënt en veilig verkeerssysteem dat de mobiliteit in de regio Utrecht aanzienlijk heeft verbeterd. De doorstroming op de A27, A12 en A28 verloopt soepel, zonder de frequente files die voorheen de norm waren. Automobilisten ervaren kortere reistijden en een hogere betrouwbaarheid van hun routes, wat de algehele reiservaring aanzienlijk verbetert. De verkeersveiligheid is merkbaar toegenomen; het aantal ongevallen is drastisch verminderd dankzij de ontweving van verkeersstromen en verbeterde infrastructuur. De leefomgeving rondom de Ring heeft een positieve metamorfose ondergaan. Geluidsoverlast is gereduceerd door de plaatsing van geluidsschermen en het gebruik van stil asfalt, terwijl de luchtkwaliteit binnen de wettelijke normen blijft.
